What are you looking at?
1. Refill of my beloved compact powder; Chanel Vitalumiere Éclat compact powder.
2. Risotto with bacon, peas, leek and may herbs.
3. Another photo from the easy laid-back look I showed you earlier this week.
4. Got a package delivered at my door from Farouk Systems. I'm really happy with these Biosilk summer products. Perfect to take my silk treatment with me when on holiday.
5. More food of this week, noodles, beans and vega meatballs (kinda contradictory).
6. New buys: a long sheer HM Trend skirt, a HM Trend cotton lace sweater and last but not least this Scotch & Soda denim look mens shirt which I got from Mart.

xx
P.S. I didn't dye my hair platinum blonde, because my hair is too dark to turn in such a light tone at once without using bleach. When I use a light blonde dye like this one, it will brighten my hair a bit so it will look more summer proof!

Inbetween collections: Balenciaga and 3.1. Phillip Lim

Balenciaga Pre-Spring 2014: Back to house basics
Alexander Wang took his whole team from Paris to Spain, Cristóbal Balenciaga's native home, for this pre spring collection. Just like his debut collection for Balenciaga, Alexander Wang choose a black and white theme. This collection contains a modern approach on Balenciaga's typical silhouettes. But of course Wang also added some things with his signature aesthetic in it like those strange hats (kinda lampshade-like), boxy shapes and inventive material use (telephone wire used as ankle straps).

3.1.Phillip Lim Resort 2014: A Pashli backpack is born
Lots of metallics, color, leather and boxy shapes. Love how colorful this whole collection is and how many different textures and fabrics are used to create this 'It looks like a complete wardrobe' collection. I want every item, there are dresses, shorts, trousers, skirts, jackets, tees, many different shoes and bags, hats, glasses, etc. I wouldn't mind trading my whole wardrobe for those ten looks above, what about you? xx

Dungarees and sunny weather

What I wore today. Finally sunny enough to put even me in something short. You probably know that I'm not someone that goes outside bare legged very often, but the weather was so nice that I dropped my 'bare-leg-issues' (my skin doesn't like the sun and decides to turn into a lovely red shade after being exposed to the sun, thanks to my ginger father I guess). And of course I needed to wear my new Asos dungarees and & Other Stories sandals. Did you enjoy the lovely sun today?

Blazer and boyfriend jeans

Todays look for another round of house hunting! We found a house we liked a lot, so we'll see about that, maybe a second visit next week. Thereafter I had to go to Amsterdam to pick up my concept thesis at the University. Luckily there wasn't that much feedback so I will easily have it ready next week and then I can celebrate my summer holiday. As you can see the weather was just great today, let's just hope it will stay like this! xx

Closet Confessions: leather love

A while ago I showed you my collection of thrifted jackets and now I'm sharing my love for leather. I'm a real purist when it comes to leather items. I never buy fake leather jackets, skirts, trousers or bags. I just don't buy fake leather at all, because I don't like the feel of it. In my opinion there are many good alternatives for fake leather. I mean if you cannot afford a leather biker jacket or aren't into real leather then there are many pretty cotton biker jackets as well. How do you feel about leather, an addict like me? xx

4. Potatoes and cabbage casserole with mustard and bacon.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately but I couldn't find time to take outfit photos. xx

Short - shorter - shorts

Since we are still eagerly waiting for the sun to come and stay over here in the Netherlands I've still not completed buying my entirely summer wardrobe. My closet is missing a few pairs of shorts so I figures why not make a wish list. Which ones would you like to have yourself? xx
