New in ADPT.

A few blogposts ago I already showed you some photos of the ADPT. showroom in Brande, Denmark and here are the items I brought home. As you can see in the photos above, I got a new grey sweat (a girl can never have too many comfy sweats right?!) and also a new denim shirt/jacket for my ever-growing denim collection. They are both of really thick quality and perfect for the colder days that are about to come.

In the looks above you can see how the guys at ADPT. styled the items for the coming winter collection - including many amazing jackets. Below you can see how I intend to wear the grey sweater, I already ordered a pair of dungarees so hopefully they'll fit and then I just have to wait till the baby blue coat is available.

Btw. I bought those black leather loafers last week and that means that I can finally tick them off my wishlist. Ever since seeing those studded Zara loafers two years ago I've been looking for a pair (the Zara ones were sold-out before I got the chance to grab a pair). Do you like the brand ADPT.? xx

MFW My 5 favorite collections

Jil Sander SS 15. Of course always one of my favorite shows and probably not only mine! Where do I start, I really love the volume in the blouses, the length of the skirts and the smart layering. Another thing that attracted my attention were the high socks, how amazing is it that these are worn with open shoes. I also like the matching tops and bottoms, it gives the impression of a suit but without the stiffness. Looking at second outfit, I think I will give the bandeau top a try again.

Byblos SS 15. I also selected a less 'familiar' name, because I was positively surprised by what they showed. The geometric prints used on different kind of materials, paired with more feminine prints and colors resulted in a refreshing collection that seems to be exactly that we'll need this summer. Even though checked trousers were already there last season, I'm still looking for one. So I'm happy to see that you can still find them on the runway as well.

Gucci SS 15. Gucci sometimes is too much for my taste; too sexy, but I do like the hippie-like feeling within this collection. Of course pairing the colorful furs with the printed dresses is predictable in a way, but the combination with the plain white dresses is amazing. I might want to try something like that myself.

Dolce & Gabanna SS 15. The Dolce and Gabanna shows always turn out to be quite phenomenal. This season the show again ended with an army of models walking down the catwalk. You probably know that I'm not that often wearing embellished clothes, but I can see myself wearing one of those beaded/jeweled tops. I also like the ladylike t-strap heels in ruby red, but I guess I don't go to parties where you have to wear shoes like that.

N 21 SS 15. The fifth collection I picked is the one from N 21. I really like the young and energetic vibe at this collection. There is a good balance between the showing of skin and covering. The collection seems to be really detailed and many different materials are being used. The combination of the lace skirt with a business oxford shirt is perfect. I'm only not so sure about those shoes. What is your favorite collection from Milan Fashion Week? xx

New York Fashion Week

Which collection is your favorite? Loved the ones above and London Fashion Week is looking good as well! I love the boxy and oversized shapes and the cropped ankle length trousers. The shortie shorts in the Alexander Wang look great as well, a beautiful lipstick color at Rag & Bone and that green coat at Calvin Klein is just perfect! xx

Inbetween collections: Balenciaga and 3.1. Phillip Lim

Balenciaga Pre-Spring 2014: Back to house basics
Alexander Wang took his whole team from Paris to Spain, Cristóbal Balenciaga's native home, for this pre spring collection. Just like his debut collection for Balenciaga, Alexander Wang choose a black and white theme. This collection contains a modern approach on Balenciaga's typical silhouettes. But of course Wang also added some things with his signature aesthetic in it like those strange hats (kinda lampshade-like), boxy shapes and inventive material use (telephone wire used as ankle straps).

3.1.Phillip Lim Resort 2014: A Pashli backpack is born
Lots of metallics, color, leather and boxy shapes. Love how colorful this whole collection is and how many different textures and fabrics are used to create this 'It looks like a complete wardrobe' collection. I want every item, there are dresses, shorts, trousers, skirts, jackets, tees, many different shoes and bags, hats, glasses, etc. I wouldn't mind trading my whole wardrobe for those ten looks above, what about you? xx
