Net-a-Porter Sale Wishlist

Like everyone else (I guess) I always make a wishlist when the sale at Net-a-Porter starts. Often I end up buying nothing because I have bought too much in other stores already (will show you my two new Acne jeans soon, #salescore) (oh and my new RayBan sunnies and Lika Mimika metallic leather espadrilles, oops).

I guess the black flowy suit, blue shirt and white tops don't need an explanation. But as for the rest, the black bag would be the perfect little day bag in addition to my large black tote I carry around. The blue sunnies are just cool, don't you think? and now that I own a pair of silver shoes I'm hooked, I want more. These Saint Laurent silver beauties would be perfect for dancing in the park on summer nights. xx

Moments in Paris

When in Paris... Obligatory Eiffel tower photo and some rooftops. Furthermore I took some photos of street art and greens in the city, so here are a few photos for you. I just went for a few days to visit a friend, luckily the weather was perfect so we just wandered around and had some drinks and food, visited some stores, the museum, talked a lot. Perfect citytrip! xx

Acne Parachute Parka

Yesterday in Amsterdam, where it was quite sunny every now and then. Spent the morning in a meeting and ran some errands afterwards. Afterwards I quickly went to the second hand stores and bought a few new [to me] tops for summer. xx

Parka: Acne | Top: Asos | Jeans: Asos | Boots: Dr Martens | Bag: Zara

Nacht van de Mode

Saturday night during 'Nacht van de Mode' in the popular Modekwartier [fashionquarters] in my hometown Arnhem. This is a special evening that is dedicated to all the artisans, stores and designers in the fashion area. During the event that is held in the stores and in the streets in front of all the workshops, stores and restaurant. Here some photos to show what it looked like. xx

Artez Graduation Show

How amazing are these coats, love love love the first one!! The long bomber jacket is something I really would like to add to my wardrobe right now, could really use something like it!

Perfect fringe bags and love that this student also made amazing matching shoes for her collection.

The use of new and innovative materials was inspiring. It was clear that these students have the latest techniques - and the devices to exercise them - at their disposal (think laser-cutters, etc.).

The designs from Becx were amazing because of its pureness and rawness. Totally loved the oversized tie dye look in the third photo; the huge blanket like coat, the scarf and the trousers. The frayed edges look perfect on these heavy fabrics!

Loved the white and clean looks in this series that is designed and made by Kuijf.

This was actually one of my favorite series during the graduation show. Really loved the shapes and materials that are used in this collection by Tellie. The colors and textiles go really well together and all the separate looks seemed to be part of an overall bigger picture.

Obviously all items within one collection should always form a cohesive collection, but I often have the feeling that with many shows this doesn't seem to be the case. This collection looked as if the designer really thought about every little aspect though, I loved it!

Two more, just because there were so many amazing looks shown! xx

Hotspot: Radio Royaal in Eindhoven

Last Thursday I went to Eindhoven for a project I'm working on. We're organizing a trip and Radio Royaal is on the menu! Above some photos of the amazing hotspot that is located in an old Philips factory on the former industrial area ground of Strijp-S.

The old Philips machine building was turned into a trendy restaurant, club, art gallery and meeting space. As you can see in the photos, a lot of the original equipment is left intact. Seeing all these old machines adds to the nostalgic vibe that is present in the building, one that is enhanced by many second hand (furniture) pieces that are scattered through the whole space.

It's obvious that the ones responsible for the decoration have paid attention to the tiniest details. There are fresh flowers and quirky little objects in every corner. I can definitely recommend you to visit the place if you happen to be in the neighborhood. xx

Fall Winter collection at Cream PR

These were taken a few weeks ago when I visited the Cream PR showroom during the fall winter press days. I fell in love with every single item from the Gestuz collection, I've always liked the obvious scandic aesthetic of the brand but it seems that this collection was even better than the ones before. Loved the thick woolen fabrics and I will definitely go try all the coats as soon as they hit the stores. Now packing my suitcase for a few days Paris. xx
