Blue Heels

What I was wearing earlier this week. As might be the case with more of you, the weather really makes me crazy. It is so hot that I really have no idea what to wear half of the time. Everything feels sticky and heavy when wearing. This is one of the looks that sort of was OK with the insane temperatures. What are your summer favorites? xx

Sunbeams

So here is the full look I wore saturday. I already showed the sandals I was wearing, which I paired with a black dress. The wide shape of this dress is perfect for warm days. I don't like dresses that cling to your body, especially not on days when temperatures start to rise, they're way too hot.

Sheer legs and scuba skirt

Together with Mart I visited the MoBA yesterday. We also took some photos and did a bit of shopping (bought beautiful black biker booties in the Zara sale, will show them later this week). This is what I was wearing, looking back I think the skirt was a bit to short for the weather. I mean it was really windy so I had to flatten the little circle hem of the skirt the whole time, a tighter skirt would have been easier. But I did like what I wore, what about you?

Double denim and cropped top

I'm sorry if I blinded you by showing you my white belly. But I can't do anything about it. People who follow me probably know that I'm not a person that gets a tan but a sunburn when showing some bare skin. So on days like today when the temperatures are OK but the sun isn't shining, I can put on cropped tops. When do you wear your cropped tops, if you have any? Today I wore my blue & Other Stories sandals for the first time, they are really comfortable (yay)! xx

Dungarees and sunny weather

What I wore today. Finally sunny enough to put even me in something short. You probably know that I'm not someone that goes outside bare legged very often, but the weather was so nice that I dropped my 'bare-leg-issues' (my skin doesn't like the sun and decides to turn into a lovely red shade after being exposed to the sun, thanks to my ginger father I guess). And of course I needed to wear my new Asos dungarees and & Other Stories sandals. Did you enjoy the lovely sun today?

New in: & Other Stories

Purchases from & Other Stories. Of course you all have read about the newest addition in the H&M family: & Other Stories. I already wrote about the fabulous new brand before and had a hard time waiting until the brand finally opened its shops. Last Thursday the moment finally was there, they opened their webstore. Because I already found myself drooling over all these gorgeous shoes when they released photos, I knew it was going to be though to make a selection. I ended up ordering a pair of black leather and suede wedges, a pair of violet blue leather sandals, a pair of black leather flats and a leather sunvisor. The quality of the items is beyond amazing and the leather is really sturdy! I hope the temperatures will rise soon so I can start wearing my new shoes! Did you already take a look at the webstore, or for the lucky ones maybe even visit a shop?

Things I can wear again this summer

Sometimes you remember wearing stuff the year before that would still be cool to wear right now. Like these mirrored sunnies, I wore them during last years trip to Lisbon in april (here). Or those beaded Aztec sandals, find them in this post (btw I ordered three pair at &Other Stories yesterday..., poor wallet). I DIY'ed this dip dye distressed denim jacket which I wore and still wear a lot, find the outfitpost here and the DIY post here. There is still nothing wrong with silver jewelry either. What about an earpiece, a pair of sexy heels or a silk jumpsuit?! Then of course I also wore many cropped tops, like this mint one (here). This is something I'm planning to do again this spring/summer, with bare midriff that is!

Apart from recycling items, I of course have a list with things I need (n-e-e-d, really) to add to my summer wardrobe.
Asos earrings | Vanessa Bruno knit | Chloé trousers | Asos denim espadrilles | Elizabeth & James shirt | Acne denim shorts | Isabel Marant sandals |
