Leather and plaid

Todays attire, wearing my all-time favorite leather jacket. Although I wouldn't mind a long sleeve version, like this Acne one. It was quit foggy today but luckily not really cold. Mart and I both had a day-off and we have been busy all day with our bedroom (no not in but with ;) I know it sounds a bit weird). We bought a new French oak floor and put it in our bedroom today, so we were busy with sawing and that stuff.. Would be so happy if we finally have everything done! xx

Minty greens and plaid

Wearing my new docs. They are really comfortable and easy to wear due to their black color. It was surprisingly cold today and I regretted my decision to not bring a scarf, but I survived ;) How is the weather over there? xx

Press days at Cream PR and Coebergh PR

The above photos were made at the Coebergh PR showroom. Like I told you before, I especially loved the Edwin Oudshoorn items because they were unbelievably detailed! The showroom looked very cozy and was beautifully decorated as always.

These four shots are from the newest collections that are represented in the Cream PR showroom. Love the leather Laimböck gloves and the Fashionology collection is always great of course! Thanks for having me! xx

COS striped top

Todays attire: feathery light top, denim shorts and sunnies. We went out for a ride on our bikes and ended up at the Ikea where we accidentally bumped into my parents and little brother. We didn't bought anything though but gained some inspiration and gathered some information. How was your day? xx

Dungarees and sunny weather

What I wore today. Finally sunny enough to put even me in something short. You probably know that I'm not someone that goes outside bare legged very often, but the weather was so nice that I dropped my 'bare-leg-issues' (my skin doesn't like the sun and decides to turn into a lovely red shade after being exposed to the sun, thanks to my ginger father I guess). And of course I needed to wear my new Asos dungarees and & Other Stories sandals. Did you enjoy the lovely sun today?

Unpredictable weather

What I was wearing yesterday. Although the sun makes it look like a warm and cozy day, the opposite is true. It was really windy yesterday so I needed to wear a thick leather jacket. As you can see I've been practicing my pageant smile, at least that's how smiling with my mouth open feels.

Checked and woven

Todays look. Another plaid shirt, an original flannel this time. Compared with a lace dress and a woven leather clutch. Back to wintery looks it is.

Wrapped around plaid shirt/skirt

Todays outfit. I've been busy all day with making plans for our probably soon to be new home. We've been house hunting for a few months now and found something we both really like. Next week I'll know more about that. I hope it will work out ok because it would be great to have an extra room and a small garden in the middle of the city. Love the apartment we've been living in for the past two years as well though, but some space would be nice. How was your day? xx

Saint Laurent inspired look with wide brimmed hat

Love Hedi Slimane's black magic women with wide brimmed hats. So I figured, why not grab my own and create a Saint Laurent inspired look. So that is exactly what I did, I think it turned out pretty well. I would love to add another black hat to my hat collection; one that is more fedora like. I love this Fashionology bird skull necklace I made/got at the CreamPR DIY event two weeks ago. I've worn it almost every day since, you get 30% discount on their site by using the code: SPRING30.

And here is my new hair, it's about 15 cm shorter and I dyed it a bit lighter. Coming week I will also add highlights to create the ultimate summer haircolor (at least that's what I'm aiming for). What do you think of my new haircut? xx

Boyfriend denim and plaid shirt

Finally some sun in the Netherlands. These photos were taken yesterday. I totally enjoyed the first real signs of spring presenting itself in the form of some lovely sunshine. This made it possible to take some photos without a coat for once. Still love these Miista shoes, haven't worn them in ages. How is the weather at your home country, any signs of spring yet?

Cream PR DIY Bloggers event

Bloggersevent! As promised more photos of the evening I spent at the Cream PR showroom. There were many, I guess at least fifty, fellow bloggers. When we came in Linda from Lifestylehunters snapped a polaroid photo of everyone and divided us in groups. There were different workshops and in groups we took part in all of them.

First we went to Kiboots where Jovanna told us about what materials they use for their shoe and bag collection, how they got started, what the designing process looks like and so much more. Second we had our necklace made by the lovely ladies from Fashionology. We could pick the pendant we liked the best and also got an amazing canvas bag which always comes in handy. Thereafter we customized a pair of heels at the vanHaren DIY table. With options varying from Summum Woman, 2LoveTonyCohen till One Teaspoon and Mink Pink we then styled a look and got photographed by international catwalk photographer Jeroen Snijders. As you can see my photo is a bit awkward, I couldn't really decide what to wear since it also was a style contest and you could win the outfit you were wearing. When we all had our photo taken, we had a meet and greet with the talented dutch designer Winde Rienstra. Yep, those cardboard wedges and wooden shoes with pull straps are made by her, impressive huh?! The last photo shows all the goodies I took home, the pimped pumps from vanHaren, canvas tote and bird skull necklace from Fashionology, a beautiful pair of olive leather fingerless gloves from Laimböck and sunnies(voucher) from Hans Anders.

Apart from all the fun things we could do and being spoiled with the goodies, we were also being taken great care of with regard to food and drinks! They served mini hamburgers, caprese pops, pumpkin soup, delicious smoothies and a lot more. All together a great evening! Thank you ladies and gents from CreamPR for the fun evening and see you next time! :)
