Black Shoes

What should every girl need in her closet? Black leather shoes, lots of them. Thus I decided to show you guys my favourite ones and tell a bit more about each pair. All black, all leather, yet completely different. Here we go..

1. Next patent leather ankle booties. These boots are the ones I wear when my outfit seems a bit basic. Shiny black with a fun length and sturdy block heel always is a good idea.
2. Clarks. Desert boots are great and go with jeans, leather leggings and skirts, so the ultimate basic.
3. Fred de la Bretoniere lace-ups. Black lace-ups are easily worn with every outfit, but my ultimate favourite combination is with suit pants, as seen here.
4. Acne booties, 12 cm sturdy heels in which you can walk all day. Gotta love Acne booties! In addition they are just beautiful because of the buttery leather and nice cut
5. Topshop fringed loafers. Bought these ones a while ago but since the weather is quite terrible I haven't had the chance to wear them yet. However they are obviously great for spring and summer, let's just hope that they aren't only good looking but that they are comfy as well.
6. Deena & Ozzy nubuck leather chelsea booties. Love the heel height and the matte black leather, they are quite anonymous (can you say that about shoes?), so if you have a nice top, jacket or skirt they don't steal the show.

What do you think? What kind of shoes are essential for you? xx

Party Look

After all the busy Christmas days where you had to take care for everyone around you, it's now time to think about yourself. What are you going to wear for New Years Eve?!
You know you want to look smashing :-)

Instead of waiting until the day itself, I decided to create my ultimate party look some days before. Since I'm probably going to spend at least half of the evening/night outside, it definitely had to be something warm. That is why I went for this furry friend with a nice sweater dress underneath. To make a bit more festive, I picked a nice glittery hair accessory.

Of course I also like sparkling dresses and skirts, but you often have to wear them with stockings and I think it will be a bit too cold for that. So I decided upon a pair of trousers from Seven Sisters to complete my look. Apart from being really comfy, they also make it bearable to go outside in this weather without freezing my butt off!

I found my perfect party outfit at The Sting for less than €100. So if you are still looking for inspiration for your New Years look, go check out their website! xx

Trenchcoat weather

An autumn look for you guys. It's definitely trenchcoat weather at the moment, so here an outfit post! It's getting more difficult to take outfit photos again because it's starting to get dark at five already. I now have to plan it on those rare times that we are both available during the afternoon.

I'm wearing a thick sturdy trenchcoat, my favorite oversized chambray shirt, vintage high waisted levi's jeans, patent leather booties and my trusty leather bag.

Pink softness

Todays look. Wearing my most girly coat, my oversized pink fluffy one. I spent my day learning for my last Danish exams and we also did some Christmas shopping. Still don't have everything we'll need yet, so I have to finish the whole shopping thing this weekend. xx

It's leather trousers time again

Haven't worn a pair of leather trousers for a looong time. This morning I thought it was about time to take them out of my closet and put them on. I paired it with a pink silk dress with black sleeves, a leather jacket, a tedda overcoat, some patent leather booties and a black hat. (And my hair suddenly  looked kinda yellow in these shots, I know…) Just came back from the cinema, we went to see the Hunger Games and it was ok. Have you seen it? xx

Patent leather booties

Got rid of some old shoes and bought these new patent leather booties. Tomorrow my mother and I will visit the Julemarked in Amsterdam, it's a Scandinavian Christmas market. I'm curious to see what kinda product we can buy, I guess lots of food. xx

COS striped top

Todays attire: feathery light top, denim shorts and sunnies. We went out for a ride on our bikes and ended up at the Ikea where we accidentally bumped into my parents and little brother. We didn't bought anything though but gained some inspiration and gathered some information. How was your day? xx

New stuff

Yesterday I shared a list of items that had entered the online shop My Theresa. Today I'm showing you the items that I have welcomed into my closet. First I bought a black trenchcoat at HM Trend, which I previously showed in the HM Trend Fall favorites. At COS I bought two tees a sheer striped black one and a green speckled one, I also bought leather sandals and a green clasp bracelet. Finally I also added another pair of shoes, black leather heeled ones from Next to be precise. What do you think? xx
