What I was wearing last Thursday. Love these cropped linen trousers, in fact I even bought a second pair because I was afraid that I would never find a replacement (+ they are very nicely priced). I paired them with my newest coat addition, a black one from COS that I bought in Aarhus. Enjoy your weekend, xx

What should every girl need in her closet? Black leather shoes, lots of them. Thus I decided to show you guys my favourite ones and tell a bit more about each pair. All black, all leather, yet completely different. Here we go..
1. Next patent leather ankle booties. These boots are the ones I wear when my outfit seems a bit basic. Shiny black with a fun length and sturdy block heel always is a good idea.
2. Clarks. Desert boots are great and go with jeans, leather leggings and skirts, so the ultimate basic.
3. Fred de la Bretoniere lace-ups. Black lace-ups are easily worn with every outfit, but my ultimate favourite combination is with suit pants, as seen here.
4. Acne booties, 12 cm sturdy heels in which you can walk all day. Gotta love Acne booties! In addition they are just beautiful because of the buttery leather and nice cut.
5. Topshop fringed loafers. Bought these ones a while ago but since the weather is quite terrible I haven't had the chance to wear them yet. However they are obviously great for spring and summer, let's just hope that they aren't only good looking but that they are comfy as well.
6. Deena & Ozzy nubuck leather chelsea booties. Love the heel height and the matte black leather, they are quite anonymous (can you say that about shoes?), so if you have a nice top, jacket or skirt they don't steal the show.
What do you think? What kind of shoes are essential for you? xx
Sorry for the lack of updates, I'm really busy lately! Doing two masters while also working parttime turns out to be rather time-consuming ;-) Plus blogging is getting harder because it is getting dark quite early nowadays which makes it hard to take photos. Luckily - after some rainy weeks - we've had some lovely sunny weather these past days so I managed to take some outfit photos for you. xx
By now you probably have seen plenty of these awkward length jeans, simply because they are the new cropped jeans. They've become just a tad bit shorter than your average cropped jeans and instead of a fringed hem [due to our diy chopping skills] they now are nicely finished.
The jeans I'm wearing are from Levi's and I like that it's a pair made out of a sturdy mediumweight 14 oz denim. Also if you don't have a pair of grey jeans, you should definitely buy one because they go nicely with almost everything. xx

We took some outfit photos last thursday in Berlin. I was wearing my new Acne denim, a pair of black leather Clarks, a striped shirt and my favorite cropped leather jacket. The weather was surprisingly cold compared to the 30 something temperatures we had in Holland. What I love about Berlin is that there are so many nice locations to take outfit photos, I decided to have the U-bahn in the background. xx

Haven't shown many outfits lately, so here you go. Wearing my army jacket again because a wintercoat wasn't needed. Hello Spring! So good to be able to wear my jackets again, and the other half of my wardrobe that has been hanging in my closet, untouched since last summer.
The weather is getting better and better and I'm glad it is. Are you also longing for warmer and especially brighter days? I've had enough of the dark days so I'm happy to wake up to sunlight and chirping birds. I'm longing for those long evenings that we'll spent outside with friends on our balcony, in the park or on the terrace in front of our favorite bar. Do you have any summer plans? xx

What I was wearing on wednesday. Unfortunately it was starting to get dark already so excuse me for posting grainy photos. Cannot leave the door without a large scarf and lucky me I got this new one last week. It's a nice checked scarf from New Look which has color on one side and black and white on the other. Any plans for the weekend? xx
Bought new black shoes last week. Together with Mart I went to the city centre and we saw these beauties at the Invito store. Finally a new pair Clarks, in black leather! I've been waiting for them to hit the stores for a while now. They've always only sold the black ones in suede, but since this season they finally offer them in black leather as well. Shop them here. What do you think of them? xx
A lot of you probably now that the weather in Holland is unbelievably stormy today. There were many problems with the railway but I could luckily go home easily. I mean it wouldn't be the first time I would get stuck in Amsterdam due to bad weather. Wearing one of my favorite tops, a tie-dye long sleeve top and pulled my winter scarves out of the closet. xx

Like I already told you yesterday, we went out with the whole family on Fathersday. First we went to airport Teuge were my father had his skydive. After the jump we went to Zwolle to visit De Fundatie, an art museum where a friend of my father is sub-director. We also ate delicious sandwiches and ice creams in this lovely Hanseatic town.
