Cognac Leather Backpack from Skagen

Say hi to my amazing new leather backpack from Skagen Denmark!! For years I have been looking for a nice backpack - preferably leather - that fits my Macbook. Quite the challenge I'll tell you.. So last month, when on holiday, I fi-nal-ly found it. So let me introduce you to my new leather backpack. 

It's a cognac leather beauty with a special inside pocket for my laptop. It has extra pockets inside, on the front and on the back. The handles are nice and wear comfy and it is just perfect! Sorry for the photo spam but I couldn't resist taking photos of this beauty. Do you like it? xx

New In: Ray Ban Erica

Hereby I present to you my new sunnies! Have wanted these for a long time and last week I got them as a present. So happy with them! I already have a beautiful pair of vintage Mulberry sunnies, but the brown color of them doesn't really go well with many outfits. I prefer black sunglasses, so here they are. It's the Ray Ban Erica model with a matte black frame and black tinted glasses. What do you think of them? xx

Gallery Wall

Looking for inspiration for on our walls. Bought a shitload of frames a while ago and I'm slowly starting to find nice prints to put in them. Some of them are still empty because I'll create something myself, at least that is the plan. I hope to have some time in July when I'm babysitting two rabbits!

Maybe at the end of summer I can show you some photos of our own home, with all our new frames on the wall. If you have any suggestion for another nice print, please tell me. Still looking for some nice 40x50 sized ones. xx

Interior decoration

Got some nice new items for our home. Have to decide where to put the antlers (got a second one for Christmas) and the print, but at least I'm happy to tell that our home is finally starting to become more 'homey'! xx

Gifts Week 3

Here some photos of the gifts I received during the third Advent week. I really like that I got completely different items every week.

Today we had our first snow here in Holland so I was glad that I had my new gloves. As you can see I also received an Asos sweater, three pencils, porcelain salt & pepper grenades, puzzle booklet, blanket and an owl. xx

Gifts Week 2

Hereby I present to you my gifts from the second week of our December advent ;-) Sorry for the delay, but I had some issues with my cameralens unfortunately. I really liked the items I got last week! Needed some new socks because my Clarks already destroyed many pairs.

Next to socks in three different colors I also got a nice knitted black beanie, white porcelain christmas tree, concrete house, coverstick, home magazine and a Brabantia grater. Thank you Mart! xx

Advent Gifts First Week

Maybe you already read something about it on my Instagram (@heritagemode), we are celebrating advent this year. Instead of giving each other one larger gift at Christmas we decided to buy 31 presents for the other. Quite hard I have to admit, but I managed to find nice ones.

Here are the gifts I got during the first seven days! A nice porcelain rhino hook, Dille & Kamille oil bottle, America Today pyjama trousers, wooden wolf, Runners world cookbook, black vase and black H&M scarf. Happy with my gifts! xx

Interior: Ferm Living wire basket

Look what the mailman just delivered! Finally I have a Ferm Living wire basket, I've been longing for one of those for ages. This weekend I finally decided to just order one, don't what kept me from ordering one. Well actually I do. I've seen them online so many times, but I never saw one in real life, so I guess I was just doubting if the quality would be good.

Last week I visited a cute tiny store called 'Van Mij' in Arnhem and they sell these wire baskets in the pastel colors. There I could finally touch and hold the basket and I knew I wanted one. Unfortunately she didn't offer them in either black or white so I ordered mine at the Bijenkorf. This morning it arrived! xx

Desk Situation

 

Current desk situation. You can always find a cup of coffee on my desk (yes I'm an addict). Furthermore I have many wooden items, paper tray, organizers, etc. Above my desk I have some shelves with my shoes, but also illustration and fashion technique books and some cute cacti. What is on your desk? xx

Weekly

What are you looking at?
It's been a long time ago since I posted a weekly update. So not all photos are made this week, I had some more stored on my macbook. So let me tell you something about these photos:

1. Bought some new plants at the Ikea. Bamboo, small cactuses and a nice little tree.
2. This is the last Glossybox I received, the Stars and Stripes box, an amazing one if you ask me. I know, it is from July but I still wanted to share it. I especially love the Bellapiere lipstick, it has a nice coral shade that suits every skin color.
3. Love how orders from Mr Porter are being shipped. I bought this Acne hat, find it on Instagram.
4. We've had some pretty hot days lately and I really like simple food on days like that.
5. Painted some stools and a chair in these lovely colors.
6. Bought these cards at the Ikea Hengelo. It's apparently something new to have a paper department at the Ikea, great idea! xx

In need of a new workspace

Just before doing my internship in Berlin (for six months), we moved to a new apartment in Holland. So when I finally was back from my half year Berlin, I decided that I wanted to treat myself with a proper workspace. Then I first spent another month in Copenhagen for a language course and now I'm finally back to pursue that wish.

I checked Pinterest and saw so many amazing boards filled with inspiration. So it took me just a few seconds to decide to finally start using the Pinterest account I created years ago. I made a board filled with workspace / home office inspiration. You can find my account and boards here.

Interior inspiration

Yes, I definitely have a weak sport for scandinavian styled apartments. I really love the wooden floor and clean white walls. The use of raw and pure materials in combination with old details is just perfect! Then the mix of old and new furniture in combination with some great rugs and fresh flowers makes it look really homy. Wouldn't mind moving into this apartment, as in I would love to grab my stuff and move into it right now! What about you? xx
