Peugeot Single Speed

Last week I took my bike to the work and my colleague took some photos of it! Not sure if I ever told you, but I work at a photo studio so it made sense to take some personal photos. Last year I pimped this old bike and I'm really happy with the result. We had a lot of fun shooting these because I wanted some photos where I was really biking which turned out to be quite hard (not because I cannot bike, but because of the small space ;-) What do you think of the result and do you like my bike, I know I do!

Furthermore I'm wearing my new favourite sweater from the Danish ADPT. together with my trusty black Acne jeans. Below two more photos (with voluminous hair)! xx

When in Oslo

At the moment I'm not in Norway anymore, but here some photos from last week. I have to admit that I wasn't that impressed by what I saw of Norway. I guess that if too many people say something is amazing you have certain expectations that are hard to meet. We stayed at the ***** Lysebu Hotel on top of the mountain in the Northern part of Oslo, the view was amazing (you could see both the city center and the entire Oslo fjord).

We of course went to the city center and its surrounding areas. The Opera House was definitely beautiful (I will show you some photos soon) but the areas I liked best are called Uranienborg, Vika and Frogner. The photos above are all taken over there. I loved the huge tall buildings with their charming facades, there were also many good shops in the area (Fillipa K, MS Icon AS, L'Occitane, etc.) Have you ever been to Oslo?

Uggerby Strand

At the moment I'm in Sweden, but these photos were taken last week when we were staying close to Hirtshals to take the ferry to Norway. There was a beautiful beach called Uggerby Strand where we enjoyed the sunset and its beautiful pink and lilac hues. I can't wait to go back and stay a bit longer so I can explore the beautiful area. Have you ever been to North Jutland? xx

P.S. After taking dozens of photos I finally managed to capture the impressive sunset. I'm thinking of printing the first photo, frame it and hang it in our bedroom, what do you think?

Windy Ã…rhus

Since Ã…rhus is situated along the eastern coast and the city centre is directly facing the sea there is a lot of wind. We tried to take some outfit photos, but I have to admit it is quite hard when your hair is dancing around - and repeatedly in front of - your face. Well we did our best and this is the result ;-)

At the moment we are in Oslo where our hotel is located on top of the hill so we have an amazing view over the Oslofjord and the city centre. We just had breakfast and now we are changing into our sport outfit and going for a bootcamp at the Olympic ski jump: Holmenkollbakken.

Have you ever been in and around Oslo and have tips of what we should do or visit? xx

Lush Greens

Another look for you guys, from when I was walking the dog at my parents in law. I brought my camera and Mart took some quick outfit photos. I was wearing one of my favorite silk shirts (yes with bears on it) and my new skinny jeans from Acne. Really love these new trousers, it has been a long time since I had jeans that are so skinny. I normally go for slim fitted jeans, but every now and then it's time for a change and I have to admit that I'm surprised that I like them so much. Definitely a good addition to my denim collection!

With this unpredictable summer weather I never really know what kind of shoes I should wear. I find myself choosing lace-ups more and more lately, because I can wear them without socks and if it is going to rain I will keep my feet dry ;-) After a long walk I had to bring my shoes to the shoemaker to get some new soles, certainly not the best shoes for walking in the woods haha. xx

When in Berlin

We took some outfit photos last thursday in Berlin. I was wearing my new Acne denim, a pair of black leather Clarks, a striped shirt and my favorite cropped leather jacket. The weather was surprisingly cold compared to the 30 something temperatures we had in Holland. What I love about Berlin is that there are so many nice locations to take outfit photos,  I decided to have the U-bahn in the background. xx

New in: Acne Jeans

Hereby I want to confess my addiction to denims. Yes I bought new ones.. well I somehow needed new jeans since I got stuck to a fence with my favorite pair. So yeah I'm now sporting a new look with a tiny hole on my shinbone (totally weird place so it looks off). That doesn't look so good, so I decided to search for a good replacement. I ended up buying two. Sale just started at my favorite Arnhem store Humanoid and I bought these two with 50% discount!

Normally I buy the Acne Flex jeans which has a slim fit and mid rise waist, but this time I bought a black pair of the Acne Skin model - mid waist, skinny, slightly cropped - and a pair of the Pin model - high rise, skinny fit - in a gorgeous blue color. I'm really addicted to Acne Jeans, I have had three pair so far and with these new ones I have five pair of their amazing jeans, can really recommend them! Shop yours here:

Winter Weather

Hi there, finally a new post! Shot this look on Monday and hadn't had the time to upload the photos yet. I'm wearing a basic winter look: jeans, boots, oversized sweater, woolen coat and a huge blanket scarf. Of course I also brought my dear mittens, wouldn't survive the winter without them! xx

Hidden gardens

What I was wearing today. As you maybe know, I graduated for my Bachelor of Science in Communication in July. Today was the official first day of my new education, a master in Fashion Strategy at Artez. I'm looking forward to finally study something fashion related again (I did three courses at Akademie Vogue before I started my Bachelor). What are you up to? xx

First signs of spring

What I was wearing two weekends ago when my parents came to visit me. We went to a Botanic garten together and my mother took some photos of me. It was a surprisingly dry sunday, we expected rain like the day before. The last two weeks have been amazingly great with lots of sunny days! Do you enjoy the good weather? xx

Wearing my new Acne jeans

Last week at the Reichstag. Loved the sunny weather we enjoyed last week. Unfortunately today wasn't that good but still, I'm happy that spring is in the air! I wore my new Acne Jeans which I bought earlier that week (apparently I was in an Acne mood, haha). How was your weekend? xx
