Preview: Modeling for Bartinki

Some weeks ago I did a shoot for Bartinki and modeled her new fall winter '14 collection. Here already a shot from the lookbook we created. Photography by Mart Noevers. Styling by me.

I thought this was a funny shot - even though my face is a bit forced because of the jump - and the skirt looks absolutely amazing. I will show you guys the other looks soon. The fall winter collection will be available soon on Bartinki's webshop on Etsy.

All black errthang

Last outfit post of this year! What I wore yesterday for a walk in the park. It's not really cold yet over here in Holland, so I can still wear three quarter sleeved leather jackets without getting a cold.

I was busy playing a new silly game on my phone (Hay Day). I almost never download games, only the ones everyone seems to be playing. My brothers, Mart and even my father were playing this farming game during Christmas so I decided to join the club. So that's why I was walking with my phone (I really needed to harvest my wheat ;).

Thanks for a good year, for all the lovely comments and for following me through Bloglovin', on Facebook and Instagram. Hope to see you again in 2014! Enjoy your evening tomorrow, drink some champagne but not too much (because we don't want to start the first day of a fresh new year with an awful headache) and dance till the sun comes up! xx

Woolen vest: Maison Scotch | Leather jacket: Dept | Silk top: Pepe Jeans | Leather leggings: Gestuz | Boots: Dr Martens Coralie | Leather bag: Zara | Headband: Bartinki | Scarf: Asos

What are you looking at?
1. Wrapping Christmas presents for Xmas at my boyfriends place. Love to wrap everything in different wrapping papers and use strings and ribbons to top it off.
2. Some of the presents I got at our place. A beautiful blanket, gift cards for both Hema and Dille & Kamille (Dutch shopping mall and an shop with beautiful living stuff), French Vogue and a box Merci chocolates. Mart gave me a Chanel eyeshadow and mascara, because he knew I was in need of a refill :)
3. Gifts I got at Marts place. This beautiful wooden slice of an oak tree, soap, apron and oven glove. We also got a restaurant gift card and a few bottles of beer and wine.
4 & 5. We went to Sonsbeek Park this morning, for a quick walk. I was wearing my amazing velvet headband I got at Bartinki.
6. The presents under our Christmas tree. My parents and brothers came over to eat dinner with us and Mart and I bought everyone some presents!

Can't believe 2013 is almost over. I'm busy preparing a recap of the outfits I wore this year. How was your year? xx

What are you looking at?
1. Went to the MoMarket last week (like I told you before) and bought a black leather belt and natural leather key chain. Both items are made by Gitte, where I bought a few items before. This includes one of my favorite necklaces, the rose golden tube necklace in the photo. The leather around the tube had the same color as the leather on the key chain. Can't wait to see how the key chain will 'age'.
2. Preview of an outfit I shot this weekend. Wearing head to toe Acne, on of my favorite brands! Gotta love Scandinavian design.
3 & 4. Denim workshops during the Beer and Burgers event at the Scotch and Soda store Arnhem. The workshop was organized by Michael Kampe and Alex Jaspers who are the men behind the denims.
5. One of the photos of the Fall Winter looks I created for Bartinki.
6. Studying with cards and online programs to help me learning the words. Had a Danish test last Tuesday and can't wait to get the result, hope I performed well enough.

Tomorrow we will fi-nal-ly get the keys to our new house (we've been busy with it for the last four months). So let the days of endless painting begin... hurray! xx

Fall-Winter with Bartinki

I created a sort of Fall Winter lookbook with items made by Bartinki. I visited the studio a while ago and lent a few of the fall winter items to shoot some looks with. Above you can find the different looks I've created. I especially loved the woolen vests which are available in many different colors. As to the accessories, I liked the headbands a lot and there are so many different ones; velvet, blue, glitter, etc.

Bartinki is a small and independent fashion label that creates garments in limited edition. The best thing about Bartinki is that it's eco fashion, meaning that the items are produced of so-called 'deadstock' (new waste such as industrial cut-offs, production excess, etc.). In my opinion it's always good when a designer is conscious-minded and produces sustainable items. Take a look at her website and have fun shopping! xx
