Aarhus

During New Year I was in Aarhus again!! Love the architecture and the colorful houses in this city. It is the second city in Denmark and is not only amazing because of its looks...

It is especially great because all the Scandinavian brands have concept stores in the centre! They sell every brand you might need in your closet (such as COS, Samsøe Samsøe, Won Hundred, & Other Stories, Weekday, by Malene Birger, Minimum, ADPT., Wood Wood and HAY). Have any of you ever been to Aarhus? xx

Premium and Seek Berlin

You probably already saw some photos on my Instagram feed from when I was in Berlin to visit the Premium and Seek fashion fair. Here are a few photos from the general area in Seek berlin which was much more fashion forward and showing more interesting, contemporary brands compared to the Premium fair.

When eating a burger and some fries the evening of our arrival we met two kind men that are working for the Danish brand Kaibosh specialized in [sun]glasses. It is a brand that has a completely different philosophy than other optical brands. They believe that one should have multiple glasses that complement your carefully curated looks, instead of one pair that doesn't go with all your looks. For instance when you are wearing a boyish look you should wear a pair of glasses that rounds off the look.

As they say themselves: "Now you can have a high quality pair of trend-setting prescription glasses or sunglasses for the same price as a pair of jeans". Browsing through their website will show you that they carry many different styles, there is something for everyone. And for those that cannot decide upon a pair in the morning they also have two-way glasses that you can alter throughout the day. Those glasses were also at the Seek fair and were amazing, how cool is it that you can wear your glasses in two ways?! Definitely fashion-forward! xx

Moments in Paris

When in Paris... Obligatory Eiffel tower photo and some rooftops. Furthermore I took some photos of street art and greens in the city, so here are a few photos for you. I just went for a few days to visit a friend, luckily the weather was perfect so we just wandered around and had some drinks and food, visited some stores, the museum, talked a lot. Perfect citytrip! xx

Impressions of Copenhagen

Here some photos that will hopefully give you an impression of what Copenhagen life looks like. Since the city lies directly on the coast, there is plenty of options to see beautiful seasides over here. I think Copenhagen is a charming small city with a typical 'city architecture', there are many old four and five story buildings in both white tones and pastel shades. But there are also modern buildings and I noticed that they often really fit in; they blend in perfectly with the surrounding buildings.

All in all I think it is a nice charming city, with cute lampposts hanging above the streets. It's a perfect mix of the character of an old city combined with a modern, fancy scandinavian vibe. The Danish people pay attention to details: the people look well groomed, the city is clean, everything is well taken care of (wifi in public transport like in Holland, good looking people on nice bikes and many free museums). I can definitely recommend this city, it is perfect for a city trip. xx
