Blossoms and Fringes

My most recent outfit photos. Wore this somewhere last week while the blossoms were still in full bloom. At the moment they are slowly falling down, twirling through the streets. Luckily I was just in time to take some photos with a nice pink background.

I'm wearing an old suede fringe vest from the Luxury line of Vila Clothes. Maybe I should wear it more often, but somehow it never really fits my outfits. But I guess the fringes do fit the current fashion so that is why I decided to wear it anyhow.

Did you enjoy the blossoms as well? xx

Late Night Tours on my Single-Speed

Say hi to my new pimped single-speed racing bike. Well actually it's not really a new one, it's an oldie but we re-styled it. It's an old Peugeot ladies racing bike. We took off the gears, replaced the rims with new aluminium lightweight ones and taped the steering wheel with black cotton.

But I personally think that the best part is the Wald wire basket in front. It is perfect when you are cruising through the city and have to take groceries, packages and your bag back home. What do you think of the result? xx

Spring and Shoulder-pads

Here an outfit from last week. The weather allows it to wear leather jackets again so I decided to take this vintage eighties jacket out. Shoulder-pads it is! And also, I'm wearing vintage Air Max sneakers that I got as a gift a while ago. These are my second pair, I only have my Nike Free Running ones, so I'm really not a sneaker person. It's nice to finally have a not sporty pair though!

I Love that it is still bright enough to take photos after work and that spring is showing some first signs. That is why I couldn't resist to take the obliged 'under the blossom tree' outfit photos! xx

PS. Not that I mind blossom photos, you've probably seen plenty on your Instagram feed already. It's that time of the year again!

Pink blossoms for spring

The full look as promised yesterday. Not that spectacular I know but sometimes comfy clothes are just  perfect! I like how Arnhem is looking right now; blossoms in full bloom everywhere. All gardens are full of color as far as the eye can see. Love those mornings when you wake up to birds chirping and rays of sunlight ushering in a new day. It's so much easier to get out of bed and prepare yourself for the day, at least for me that is. It would even be better if temperatures hold steady at a lovely 25 degrees Celsius or something alike. I guess we just have to wait for that to happen. Have a good weekend! xx

Blossoms in the park; spring has finally sprung

Todays attire. Finally managed to capture some beautiful blossom trees on camera, with myself underneath that is. Last year I didn't have that much time during the week they were in full bloom, a week later the flowers already had fallen of. The temperatures reached an impressive 20 degrees (Celsius) today, so we definitely could call this a spring day. Love to take these lightweight Isabel Marant trousers out for the first time and the thin fabric proved to be perfect for todays weather. How was your day? xx
