DIY silver foil heeled boots

Ph, Private

What you'll need: An old pair of boots, silver metallic tape (hardware store), scissors, pattern paper, pencil.

1. I got an old pair of boots, because they were broken. He thought I might could do something with it, that's exactly what I did. First cut off the bootleg, turning them into ankle boots.
2. Use pattern paper to make a pattern for the heelcap.
3. Trace the pattern onto the silver foiltape and cut the shape. Paste the two pieces onto eachother.
4. Take off the back side of the tape, stick the tape onto the heel. This is quite difficult since the tape tears apart with the smallest pull or pressure. Make sure you've made the small cuts, so you can bend it in a round shape. Press onto the silverfoil to make the wrinkle equal. You're done!

Hold up tights

Metallic sleeved leather jacket: Maison Scotch | Knit: H&M Trend | Skirt: Zara | Tights: Asos
Shoes: Thrifted | Belt: Scotch&Soda | Necklace: Asos

As you can see I'm wearing almost the exact same outfit as I wore here. But still I think it looks different because of the jacket and tights. By the way I'm totally in love with my triangular mirror necklace from Asos, get yours here.

Cut Out Inspiration

 Ph, Different Sources

I'm totally into cut-outs. I think it's a style that will be present for the coming years, because it is really versatile. You have so many options to make a cut-out and so many places on which you can make a cut-out. I know the cropped with stars sprinkled top isn't a real cut-out. But I think it would be nice to make such a top yourself without the skin-colored fabric at the neckline. I also like the checked blouse a lot, especially since it also has the little studs on every overlap (I'm not sure if I like the fact that these are skulls). What do you think? Do you have items with cut-outs?

Weekly

Ph, Private

What are you looking at?
1. Had some noodles with chicken, mushrooms, pine apple, bok choy and taugé last week. Mmm, so good!
2. Black graphic eyeliner and golden brown (like that great song from The Stranglers) eyeshadow.
3. Together with Mart I went to the town center because we had a day off together. We drank some coffee, grabbed some lunch and did a bit of shopping.
4. Made a pattern for a pair of trousers, I have four pieces now, but I still have to sew everything together.
5. Happy with my black leather tote from Zara, love it!
6. I made tiny little meatballs, haha, it took me almost fifteen minutes. I always manage to make the first one too small, so the next ones all need to have the same size (I know obsessive behavior). But it tasted good.

Asos accessory order

Ph, Private

My Asos order came in today. I got a gift-card last week and I decided to spend the whole amount on accessories. Since I don't own any earrings, I decided to pick a few of those. I found two pair of spiked earrings and I totally fell in love with a pair of silver poodles. I added a cotton floral snood, a nice shade of nail-polish, a pair of tights and an amazing mirrored triangular necklace.

Find the items online by clicking on the links. Black spiked earrings - Poodle tunnel earrings - Black tights - Triangle necklace - Floral snood - Triple spiked earrings - Rimmel London nailpolish

Woolen bomber jacket

Ph, Private

Woolen jacket: Etoile Isabel Marant | Sweat-tee: Isabel Marant | Jeans: Thrifted | Shoes: Clarks Originals
Beaded collar: Maison Scotch | Roundscarf: Asos | Bag: Zara

What I was wearing a few days ago. Time to put on the real wintercoats again. We have had a few days on which a leather jacket wasn't enough to keep yourself warm. I bought this jacket last year but didn't really had the time to wear it (too much coats to choose from, are you familiar with that problem?!). I really like snoods/roundscarfs, I think I'm going to make myself another one from some leftovers silks.
