Mauerpark Berlin
Last sunday in the Mauerpark in Berlin. I went there with Julia, my temporarily roomie. We decided to walk to the park, since the weather was pretty nice. I think we experienced a true first springlike weekend! It was really sunny at the park and there where many people sitting on the hill, soaking up the sun. The market was OK, most of the stuff was a bit too expensive but the food was pretty good and it was nice wandering around for a bit. Did you enjoy the lovely weather? xx

Weekends
It's already Saturday evening again! For me it's kinda weird to have the weekends off, I'm not really used to doing nothing at all and having a lazy weekend. Since I started my internship I'm not working during the weekends anymore and can spend my time doing fun stuff. So that's exactly what I'm going to do! I'll just put some make-up on, go to a friends place for some drinks, afterwards to a club and dance till dawn. Tomorrow morning we'll be going to a flea market in the Mauerpark here in Berlin. So I hope to find some cool stuff but we'll see! Have a nice weekend! xx

When in Berlin
Here is a shot of something I wore last weekend. Without my photographer (aka Mart) it's quite hard to show you outfit photos but I will try! The photo was taken at the Museuminsel in front of the Pergamon museum, just love all these pillars. Have you ever been in Berlin, if yes what are your favorite spots? xx

Weekly

Hi Guys, long time no see! Sorry for the lack of updates, from now on I will update on a more regular basis again :) A lot has happened since I posted the last time. People that are following me on Instagram probably already guessed: I've moved to Berlin. At the beginning of February my last semester at the University started and I already wrote my thesis and stuff, so the only thing left is my internship. I really wanted to do that part abroad because I think it will be a great experience. After searching, applying and doing the interviews I had several options and in the end I choose for an internship at Glossybox. Most of you probably have heard, or personally know, Glossybox. It is a company that offers (monthly) beauty boxes for a good price with five products in it. Their head office is located in Berlin and that is where I will be located for the coming months.
What are you looking at?
Mart and his parents brought me to Berlin last week and I showed them the city. We went to see some left over pieces of the Wall - with graffiti and chewing gum on it - we went to the Holocaust Memorial, the Reichstag, the Ku'damm (which has a great pasta place at number 212 called Nudel Works), the Brandenburger Tor, walked down Unter den Linden, went into Friedrichshain to eat and drink something. We also walked through Potsdamer Platz, to the Mitte district to see Checkpoint Charlie and went to what is called the best burger place in Berlin: 'Burgermeister' at Schlesisches Tor. xx

Interior decoration
Sorry for the lack of updates. As you probably saw at my Instagram, I'm in Berlin again. I didn't bring my camera so it's quite hard to update stuff. That's why I made an interior decoration wish list for you guys. I'll be back in Holland by sunday evening so next week I'll post some more! xx

Weekly: Housewarming
Last Sunday we had our housewarming party because we moved to a new house two months ago. In those two months we did a lot of building (demolishing the old kitchen, stripping the whole place, letting my uncles re-installing the piping, plastering the walls and placing a new kitchen), sanding, painting, refurnishing etc. Finally we had everything sort of in place and it started to look like a real home, so we decided to celebrate that fact by giving a housewarming party. What are you looking at?
1. We got lots of great gifts to decorate our new home with. My cousin is very creative and has her own shop where she sells items she has made and items she has smartened up. My mother gave me another marble house from Bloomingville, my grandmother gave us candles and my aunt gave me money so we could buy something ourselves and she also gave us a little packet with a towel and nature soap.
2. Beautiful flowers and a wooden spoon which had a gift card for Cook&co tied to it.
3 & 4. Lots of cards with lovely words, gift cards and money. Sometimes even accompanied by beautiful flowers!
5. The Hema gift cards we got from our aunt and uncle have already been spent ;) We bought two new pillows with graphic patterns in grey tones.
6. More gifts, cards and a delicious pie assortment from the famous bakery Koekela in Rotterdam.
Thank you everyone for coming and of course for everything you brought with you (which was totally unnecessary, but also really sweet). xx
