Scent stories illustrations by Spiros Halaris

Love these illustrations by the talented Spiros Halaris. I'm familiar with his fashion drawings, but when I visited his website I saw these and instantly fell in love with them. These fragrances look way more interesting and richer if you see them with these surroundings. I would love to have these printed so I can put them on the wall.

Neon infinity rope bracelet and Céline printed tee

What I was wearing somewhere last week. Totally forgot about these photos, but here they are! I bought this tee at Comegetfashion and at the last minute I decided to put the neon bracelet and midi ring in my shopping cart as well. I love bringing a subtle hint of neon in my outfit by adding something like this bracelet (apart from the scarf in this look of course, but I wasn't wearing the scarf inside). I'm off to friends to watch our saturday evening quiz (for the Dutchies: 'Weet ik veel') and eat some weekend junkfood! Hope you are going to have a fab weekend! xx

What to wear when visiting the future

Well, at least that was what I thought when I saw some of the last spring summer collections coming down the runway. Like Alexander Wang doing his cut-outs on every item in new ways. He decided to use fishline to hold different pieces of fabric together to create items, like these shorts. Acne also came up with new ideas. They created jackets and skirt with different panels of fabric. Do you like this simplistic approach, hurray for minimalism?! Tell me.

Cream PR DIY Bloggers event

Bloggersevent! As promised more photos of the evening I spent at the Cream PR showroom. There were many, I guess at least fifty, fellow bloggers. When we came in Linda from Lifestylehunters snapped a polaroid photo of everyone and divided us in groups. There were different workshops and in groups we took part in all of them.

First we went to Kiboots where Jovanna told us about what materials they use for their shoe and bag collection, how they got started, what the designing process looks like and so much more. Second we had our necklace made by the lovely ladies from Fashionology. We could pick the pendant we liked the best and also got an amazing canvas bag which always comes in handy. Thereafter we customized a pair of heels at the vanHaren DIY table. With options varying from Summum Woman, 2LoveTonyCohen till One Teaspoon and Mink Pink we then styled a look and got photographed by international catwalk photographer Jeroen Snijders. As you can see my photo is a bit awkward, I couldn't really decide what to wear since it also was a style contest and you could win the outfit you were wearing. When we all had our photo taken, we had a meet and greet with the talented dutch designer Winde Rienstra. Yep, those cardboard wedges and wooden shoes with pull straps are made by her, impressive huh?! The last photo shows all the goodies I took home, the pimped pumps from vanHaren, canvas tote and bird skull necklace from Fashionology, a beautiful pair of olive leather fingerless gloves from Laimböck and sunnies(voucher) from Hans Anders.

Apart from all the fun things we could do and being spoiled with the goodies, we were also being taken great care of with regard to food and drinks! They served mini hamburgers, caprese pops, pumpkin soup, delicious smoothies and a lot more. All together a great evening! Thank you ladies and gents from CreamPR for the fun evening and see you next time! :)

What I was wearing during a CreamPR DIY event in Amsterdam

Coat: COS | Cropped knit: Viva Vena | Leather gilet: Maison Scotch | Trousers: Thrifted
Booties: Acne | Bag: Zara | Scarf and earrings: Asos

Yesterdays outfit. I had quite a busy day, in the morning I had to work a shift and I directly headed to Amsterdam when I was finished. After running some errands in Amsterdam I had a meeting at the uni, directly after I went to the CreamprDIY event. There were a lot of things to learn, see and do. Afterwards Mart and I went on an evening boatcruise in the canals of Amsterdam. When we arrived at home it was past noon already, but it was a great day! More photos are coming.

What are you looking at?
OK first of all, I know it's officially Monday, but it's still a sort of Sunday. I had some Easter festivities yesterday, so it was already late when I got home. Anyway, here is my weekly.
1. Last Sunday evening we went to Marlot and Mascha in Amsterdam to see their new apartment. They invited us over for dinner and this is what we ate.
2 & 3. If you follow me on Instagram, you've already seen this little vase. I've wanted this six-legged vase for some time and my boyfriend gave it to me the other day!
4. Friday night food! Bites with the family at Pand 9 in Doetinchem, after a long exhausting day in Amsterdam.
5. Me trying to take photos of Coco with my analogue camera.
6. Indian curry with rice we ate last week.

How did you like your Easter weekend? xx
